What are your hours?
We are open daily 11 to midnight except Sunday 11am to 10pm. We seat for upstairs dining from 4:30pm to 11pm Monday thru Saturday and Sundays until 10pm, lunch is served in the Saloon starting at 11am and weather permitting on our outside patio as well. Pine Lodge Saloon is open until midnight except Sundays.
Where are you located?
Pine Lodge Steakhouse is in McHenry, MD overlooking
Deep Creek Lake. We are easily found 1/4 mile south
of the blinking traffic light on 219 or 1.5 miles north
of the bridge over the lake if traveling north on 219.
Look for the beautiful log building with a green shingle
roof in the Fort beside Smiley's.

What are your special, soups, lunch and dinners?
We have a daily lunch special Monday thru Friday, our special soup is Cream of Crab, and for dinner we highlight our fabulous menu items. House specialties include all steaks (ranging from 12.95), several seafood dishes, (salmon, sea bass, crab cakes, lobster & nutty trout among others) (ranging from 9.95) and both the Prime rib and BBQ ribs are excellent. What is your price range?
We find most guest expect to spend $15 to $20 to enjoy our fabulous menu selections. We provide an extremely wide range with entrée's starting under ten dollars. Is it ala cart? All of our meals include freshly baked multigrain bread, salad, veggie of the day, and water with the stated price. What should we tip? We hope you find our service worth the customary 18 percent gratuity.
Do you serve full dinners in the bar?
We always have our appetizer and sandwich fare menu available and yes we do offer the same great dinner menu as serve upstairs with some limitations. When we're operating at full capacity we may stop dinner service to the bar. This is because the kitchen is no longer keeping up with the guests in the dining areas and/or we find the bar too crowded to safely maneuver with food trays. We ask your indulgence in making the snap decision about when to curtail dinners served in the bar; but it is an important consideration in accommodating the needs of the whole business and all of our guests. It is not reasonable for quests to expect that they can circumvent the wait list by dining at the bar. We are often on a wait list because we need to control the pace of orders going to the kitchen not because we don't have empty chairs.
