Meet Our Executive Chef
At Pine Lodge Steakhouse & Saloon we pride ourselves in delivering freshly prepared and exceptional food. We are continually searching for new items for our menu, as well as, our specials so our guests can experience a variety of flavorful meals with each visit.
The consistency in our food and service directly correlates to the experience and creativity of our executive chef, Adam Murray.
Chef Murray was Valedictorian of his graduating class at the Pennsylvania Culinary Institute. He achieved the Professionalism and the President's List awards at the Institute. His positions at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse and The Homestead Resort provided Chef Murray the knowledge and experience to become executive chef at the Sportsman Restaurant, where he was instrumental in executing the opening of the new restaurant. His desire to come home to his native Garrett County luckily coincided with Pine Lodge Steakhouse & Saloon owner Jonathan Kessler's need for an executive chef. Growing up in the area and holding positions in other resort destinations has afforded Chef Murray the knowledge and understanding of the guests who frequent Pine Lodge Steakhouse & Saloon.
